Relationship of Dietary Compliance with Changes in Blood Sugar Levels in Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Jambon Health Center, Ponorogo Regency" Thesis. Advisor 1 : Ria Fajar Nurhastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd, Advisor 2 : Ike Sureni, S.KM., M.Kes, Bachelor of Nursing Study Program, Buana Husada College of Health, Ponorogo.Diabetes Mellitus is a complex chronic disease that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both, causing the body to experience disturbances in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats which have an impact on blood glucose levels that tend to increase or hyperglycemia.This research method is quantitative. The population of this study is diabetes mellitus patients who seek treatment at the Jambon Public Health Center, Ponorogo Regency. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling with a total sample of 25 respondents. The independent variable is dietary compliance, while the dependent variable is blood sugar levels. Statistical test using Chi Square test. The results showed that 18 respondents (72%) adhered to a compliant diet and 13 respondents (52%).Chi Square statistical test obtained p value = 0.00 (0.00 < 0.05), which means that there is a relationship between dietary compliance with changes in blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients at Jambon Health Center, Ponorogo Regency.it is expected that diabetes mellitus patients and their families know that to achieve normal blood sugar levels, it is necessary to increase dietary compliance.
