Hubungan Kepatuhan Diet dengan Perubahan Tekanan Darah pada Pasien Hipertensi di Puskesmas Jambon Kabupaten Ponorogo

This research method is quantitative. The population of this study were hypertensive patients who went to the Jambon Public Health Center, Ponorogo Regency. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling with a total sample of 26 respondents. The independent variable is dietary compliance, while the dependent variable is blood pressure. Statistical test using Chi Square test.The results showed that the adherence to a compliant diet was 19 respondents (73%) and changes in blood pressure of hypertensive patients in stage 1 were 11 respondents (42.3%), stage 2 were 8 respondents (30.7%) and stage 3 were as many as 7 respondents (26.9%). Chi Square statistical test obtained p value = 0.000 (0.00 < 0.05) which means that there is a relationship between dietary compliance with changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Jambon Public Health Center, Ponorogo Regency.For this reason, it is expected that hypertensive patients and their families know that in order to achieve normal blood pressure, it is necessary to increase dietary compliance.
